The Pink Sands Resort is one of those places that make you feel like you are in a place where the rich and famous go to play. We are into funky, but a little posh once in a while is good too.

Where is everyone? as we walked the grounds of the Pink Sands, it all looked like a travel magazine, but no one was there.

No, it's not a clothing store.

Spanish Wells is a dry town. BYOBB is permitted. Bring your own big bottle.

Love the Bahamian food!

A visit to the beach to let the four legged girls play before we head to Pete's Pub.

The family cars parked at the beach

Best seat on the beach!

Stephanie and Godiva hunting sea glass.

I think Nancy found one.

Godiva met a new "little" friend to play with at the beach.

Pete's Pub Beach Bar in Little Harbour. Sand floors, good drinks, good food, and funky. Our kind of place.

Hurry, they're real thirsty after the trip here!

AAAHHHHH! Ice cold Kalik.

Places in the Islands all have things that people leave who want to let others know that they were here. Signs on a hill, burgees hung, dollar bills, license plates, under garments, and on and on. Pete's Pub has t-shirts, lots of t-shirts, with boat names, sayings, dates, etc. Been there, done that, and we will leave a September Song t-shirt next trip.

Bar maids (AKA boat slut) tip jar. Don't tell anyone, but I tipped a "slut"

Jay Bird (AKA John) trying his hand, or should I say head, at the ring on the hook game. OK, it's the bar game where you try to swing the ring and try.... OK, you say you know.

Laying around waiting for people to pet and adore it. I want to come back as a cat.

Joe, Stephanie, and Julia exploring the gallery at Pete's Pub. Pete's father landed in Little Harbour many years ago and lived in a cave while he built his house. He was a sculptor.

Stephanie found this little guy and thought it looked like Godiva and it would look good on the boat. 1,600.00.....NOT

I found a carnation in a Kalik bottle at the beach. I thought this would be a good place and time to propose again to my beautiful, wonderful, smart, loving wife and Admiral. That anxious frown on my face turned into a huge smile when she said YES! I'm the luckiest guy in the world.

We arrived at an abandoned camp site and Stephen went for a walk down the beach. He found this abandoned camp site with a covered picnic table and a horse shoe court so we moved the family cars South and settled in. Let the liquid refreshments and games begin!

Godiva (AKA sandy, salty, ball chaser) taking a much need break and nap.

Stephen getting the court ready for hard competition, and Pam warming up her arm.

Let the games begin!

The big winner, Jay Bird, with three ringers. (he says four)

Two tired puppies after a long day of play on the beach waiting for a dry towel and cookies at the aft door. Such tired faces.

After we returned from a day at the beach, we all got together on September Song for HEAVY apps, drinks and a beautiful, calm evening not wanting to let go of a beautiful day in the Abacos.

There's always room for jello! (shots) Thanks Pam.
