Time for a cigar, Kim. Welcome back. I'm so bad.

Bahama Bums

Thursday night we had most of the Bahama Bums over on September Song for my famous lasagna. Well, Stephanie was great as usual, and did most of it while I put together a slide show of last winter in Marathon and our Bahamas trip. What a fun night with good friends and great memories.

Charlotte brought the most delicious key lime pie.

We ate it Bahama Bums style.

Bahama Bums style is everyone grabs a fork and digs in.

A night at Salty's

A group of about twenty of us headed to Salty's  for music by our musician friend, Adrienne. She plays there every other Friday Night. Cruising friends, Steve and Polly, (CLAY LADY) who we haven't see in about four years, just got in and joined us. You never know when paths will cross on the water, but they usually do. Jay and Nancy were with us also, and Jay is still going strong. I think this trip down to Marathon has done him a world of good.

Key West and Peter Mayer

Eight of us, including you guessed it, Jay and Nancy. (We needed to play as much as possible during the short time they are here) headed down to Key West for a little play time at Schooners Wharf and a Peter Mayer Concert. Peter is Jimmy Buffet's lead guitarist and puts on a great show. It was extra special because our friend, Scott Kirby, played a set with him. Have I told you, "we love Key West".

Jay has been on a feeding tube for a while now and still is. This bowl of clam chowder is some of the first real food he has had. Leave it to Key West!

Still here on 12/22/2012

Well, we're still here on 12/22/2012. While the Mayan Indian was making the calender, another said to him, "the tequila is ready." He replied, "I guess if I don't finish it, it wouldn't be the end of the world." I can relate! Any excuse for a party, and that's what we did last night at Dockside Bar. We had an "End of the World Party" with some of our cruising friends.
Lots going on the last few day before several of our dock mates started leaving for the holidays. Another trip to Key West, our first best ball golf tournament, and an End of the World Party.
We will spend Christmas here at the marina with  a Christmas party/dinner with several of our cruising friends. The forecast for Christmas is 82 and clear, so we will set up tables and party outside on the dock. We usually take September Song down to Key West for our Key Weird Christmas with Doug and Tammy, (Gypsies in the Palace) but this year is Doug's 60th Birthday on the 31st, so we are going to take September Song down to Key West on the 29th, and celebrate Doug's Birthday and a Key Wild and crazy New Years. I will make sure I take lots of pictures. Should be a blast!

The morning of our anniversary we went to the Stuffed Pig for breakfast.

Now that's a happy couple!

Another party at The Keys Fisheries with the group and some new arrivals.

Thought for a change at the Fisheries we would order a sushi boat.
