Hot, Hot, Hot

Saturday morning we headed to the farmers market and found great stuff. Sweet corn, breads and pastries, tomatos, and a boned leg of lamb. This is the first farmers market I have seen home grown meats. Steph marinated the lamb in EVOO, garlic and herbs, I grilled the lamb, Steph did the sweet corn in the microwave and we pigged out, or should I say lambed out at dinner. The lamb was tender and juicy and the corn was the sweetest I have had in a long time. It was really hot so we didn't do much exploring, just a couple hours then back to the boat to start the lamb.
Today it's still hot, so we took advantage of the time and cleaned the entire inside of September Song. She is so happy when she is cleaned. This afternoon we did some of the Maritime Museum. It was interesting seeing all the boats and the history of the Chesapeake. After the museum we took Bee and Bop to the grocery store and did some provisioning, then back to the boat for pizza and of course, ice cream.
Tomorrow we are planning on exploring more of the town.
