Boo Boo Hill

When we last left you, we were at Warderick Wells Cay at the park welcome station and HQ. After blogging, reading our mail, and enjoying the viewfrom the porch of the park HQ, the group hiked up to Boo Boo Hill. Boo Boo Hill is where all the cruisers passing through this area make upsigns and place them at the top of the highest point on Warderick Wells Cay. As you can see from the picture, Stephanie did a great job on oursign with the help of our Dremel tool and an afternoon of hard work. Cruisers have been leaving the names of their boats up there for years, carved or painted on anything from driftwood, to fishing floats, to old outboard motors. We all left our signs to say we were here to all who come to this special place. It is told that a boatload of missionaries wrecked off Warderick Wells and are buried on Boo Boo Hill and the cairn on Boo Boo Hill wa erected long ago in their honor. Next we are headed to Cambridge Cay which is still in the Park. As always, we will take you with us.
